The Young Adult conceptual unit is an integral part of the University of Arkansas Fort Smith pre-service teacher candidate program. These teacher candidates are challenged to create and present individual and collaborative units featuring Young Adult Literature as an anchor text. During this session the UAFS pre-service teacher candidates and UAFS ETL graduates will showcase their units and share their experiences in creating and teaching these units.
