Crystal began her career in education 21 years ago. She has taught preschool, 1st and 4th grade. For the last twelve years, she has been a library media specialist for elementary and middle school students. In addition to teaching library skills and technology, she maintains the school’s website, Facebook page, and serves as the Parental Involvement Coordinator. She is a member of her building’s Leadership Team, the district’s Conway Technology Educational Leadership (CTEL) committee, and was chosen as 2012-13 Teacher of the Year. She has a Bachelors of Science of Education degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in social studies from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, a master’s degree in instructional technology from Arkansas Tech, and a second master’s degree in Educational Theory and Practice from Arkansas State University. Currently, she is the Library Media Specialist at Carl Stuart Middle School in the Conway Public School District.
